. . . .. . . . . . .. . Madi
people occupied the eastern part of West NIle from the Nile
river west to highlands settled by Alur, Lugbara and in the
far north by Kakwa: and from Okello in the south to to the
Sudan border in the north.
These were rural landscapes with few visible villages or towns outside of Moyo in the far north.
The flight entered Madi from the highlands
of Alur south of War. The direction was to the northeast toward
Okollo. Locations for the first two scenes are not precise.
They were fifteen or so miles to the south west of Okollo .
The flight passed the Okollo area and continued to the north
west past Uleppi and on to Arua in Lugbara. The following scenes
show settlement in southern Madi, the Okollo area and to the
north west. . . . . . . . Note
trash burn in the center of the scene.
